How to redeem the code

Press the Xbox button on your controller and go to:

  3. Redeem
  4. Enter code
Enter the 25-character code and confirm — the amount is added to your Microsoft account balance.
On the web or in the appWeb / PC / iOS / Android
  1. 01Open redeem.microsoft.com (or the Xbox app on PC / phone) and sign in to your Microsoft account.
  2. 02Enter the 25-character code — the dashes are optional.
  3. 03Press “Confirm” — your balance updates right away. Spend it in the Xbox Store and Microsoft Store.

How to find your account region

Look at the currency in the StorePrices in $ usually mean the USA, £ — the UK, € — Europe, TL — Turkey, R$ — Brazil.

Check the Microsoft websiteSign in at account.microsoft.com → “Your info” → “Country/region”. On xbox.com the region code is in the address: en-us, en-gb, de-de, tr-tr, pt-br, en-au, en-ca, es-mx, pl-pl, en-ae, en-sa, es-co, en-za, en-hk, ja-jp.

!A code from another region won't redeemA code for Turkey won't work on a US account, and vice versa. The code is credited in its region's currency, and an issued code can't be returned — check your Microsoft account region before paying.

Yes, as long as the code is from the same region as the Microsoft account. An account's region can be changed at most once every three months, and the balance left in the old currency doesn't carry over — so pick a code for the account's current region. If you need help, message support.
